Abstract:	Die zur Klimatisierung von Gebäuden eingesetzten RLT-Anlagen sind häufig eine störende Lärmquelle in den angeschlossenen Räumen. Deshalb mußder für die Behaglichkeit der Bewohner nötige Schalldämpfer so dimensioniert werden, daßdie für den einzuhaltenden maximalen Raumpegel erforderliche Dämpfung mit einem Minimum an zusätzlichem Druckverlust und damit gringem Energieverbrauch erreicht wird. Um diesen Anforderungen gerecht zu werden, müssen die Dämpfung, das Strömungsgeräusch und der Druckverlust des Schalldämpfers sehr genau bekannt sein. Mit der DIN 45646 ist es möglich, diese 3 Kenngrößen im Schalldämpfer-Prüfstand genau und verläßlich zu bestimmen. Die dort bestimmten Daten lassen sich in der Praxis übertragen und ermöglichen so dem Planer eine energiesparende Auslegung der RLT-Anlagen.
