Abstract:	Während der Nutzungsdauer von Fachwerksystemen ist es häufig notwendig, deren Tragfähigkeit zu erhöhen; die Konstruktion muß verstärkt werden. In zahlreichen Fällen empfiehlt es sich, die Sicherheit solcher Konstruktionen - genauer als bisher - auf der Grundlage der Überlebenswahrscheinlichkeit sog. minimaler kritischer Mengen von Konstruktionselementen zu berechnen, wobei deren Tragfähigkeit mit Hilfe der Methode des Knotengrenzgleichgewichts bestimmt wird. Das größere Datenangebot über die bereits bestehende Konstruktion kann gesondert berücksichtigt werden. Ein Rechenbeispiel zeigt die Vorgehensweise.
