Abstract:	Für einen starr ummantelten Kreiszylinder unter äußerer Wasserdruckbelastung werden die kritischen Verformungs- und Belastungswerte nach der Energiemethode unter Verwendung geometrisch nichtlinearer Verformungsbeziehungen ermittelt. Ein gegenüber der Arbeit von Glock verbesserter Verformungsansatz ergibt genauere kritische Werte. Am Beispiel eines in einen Kalischacht zur Verstärkung und Abdichtung des vorhandenen Ausbaus eingebauten Stahlzylinders werden mit Hilfe der gewonnenen Ergebnisse die Grenzen des Berechnungsverfahrns von Amstutz sichtbar gemacht, nach dem der Stahlzylinder dimensioniert ist.
