Title:	Das Doppelinstitut IWF/IPK in Berlin.
Abstract:	Ende April 1986 war die Einweihung eines neuen Institusgebäudes für die TU Berlin und die Fraunhofer Gesellschaft München. Dank der neuesten Verbundtechniken konnte dieses Bauwerk trotz erschwerter Bedingungen wie Brandschutz, Verzicht auf Unterdecken usw. gegen die Betonkonkurrenz gewonnen und in Stahl ausgeführt werden. Alle Stützen wurden als Verbundstützen, betongefüllte Hohlprofile sowie vollständig einbetonierte Walzprofile, ausgeführt. Aus Brandschutzgründen wurden die Deckenträger mit Kammerbeton versehen. Die hier beschriebene Bauweise hat sich bei diesem Bauvorhaben sehr bewährt.
