Abstract:	Bei feuerverzinkten Stahlträgern u.a. für den Parkhausbau sind in der Vergangenheit Risse aufgetreten, hauptsächlich Längsrisse im Steg der Träger, die von geschweißten Teilkopfplatten ausgingen, vereinzelt auch Risse am Untergurt quer zum Träger, die an lokalen Druckstellen infolge Kaltverformung zum Vorkrümmen der Träger ihren Anfang nahmen. Der Aufsatz geht den wechselseitigen Ursachen der Rißbildung bei der Verzinkung entsprechend dem derzeitigen Stand der Forschung nach und gibt vorläufige Empfehlungen zur Werkstoffwahl, der konstruktiven Ausbildung, Fertigung und Feuerzinkung, um in Zukunft Risse zu vermeiden.
