Abstract:	Es werden die Gründe für die in den meisten Fällen auftretenden Unterschiede zwischen errechneten und tatsächlichen gemessenen Baugrundsetzungen erläutert und der Pressiometerversuch nach Menard als eine neue Untersuchungsmethode vorgestellt, die eine genauere Beurteilung von Böden hinsichtlich ihrer Setzungseigenschaften erlauben soll.
