Abstract:	Im Zuge des Verkehrsprojektes "Deutsche Einheit Nr. 16" wurde der Neubau der Autobahn A71 im Streckenabschnitt von Meiningen bis zur Landesgrenze Thüringen/Bayern geplant und in den vergangenen Jahren realisiert. Das bedeutendste und längste Ingenieurbauwerk dieses Streckenabschnittes stellt hierbei die Werratalbrücke Einhausen dar, die als zukunftweisende Verbundkonstruktion konzipiert war. Mit vielen neuen Entwicklungen im Bereich von Fertigung, Montage und Korrosionsschutz der Stahlkonstruktion markiert diese Brücke einen neuen Meilenstein im modernen Verbundbrückenbau
