Abstract:	Ein Hauptgesichtspunkt bei der Auslegung und Fertigung von Stahlkonstruktionen ist eine möglichst niegrige Konstruktionsmasse, um ein günstiges Verhältnis von Eigenmasse und Nutzlast zu sichern. Bei der Gestaltung von Flächentragwerken ist eine Masseeinsparung bisher nur durch das Verschweißen von Blechen mit abgestufter Dicke möglich. Eine wesentlich günstigere Konstruktionsmethode bietet der Einsatz gewalzter keilförmiger Bleche. Im Aufsatz werden die vielfältigen geometrischen Formen dickevariabler Grobbleche vorgestellt, die walztechnisch herstellbar sind. Dabei handelt es sich sowohl um Grobbleche mit Dickenänderung längs als auch quer zur Walzrichtung. Ausgewählte Anwendungsbeispiele für Längs- und Querkeilbleche werden behandelt.
