Title:	Ziegelherstellung und Ziegeleigenschaften in Madagaskar
Abstract:	Mauerwerk wird in Madagaskar nicht als tragender Baustoff verwendet. Obwohl die Grundlagen dafür vorhanden sind und der Einsatz von Mauerwerk für das Land aus bauklimatischer und auch aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht überaus sinnvoll wäre, wird Massivkonstruktionen aus Stahlbeton, in die Mauerwerk nur als nichttragendes Element integriert wird, der Vorzug gegeben. Der Bericht beschäftigt sich mit der Herstellung und den daraus resultierenden Eigenschaften von Mauerziegeln in Madagaskar, in denen die Hauptursache für den Nichteinsatz von Mauerwerk als tragendes Bauteil zu suchen ist. Er entstand im Zuge eines größeren Bauvorhabens in Madagaskar, welches von den Autoren betreut wird.
