Title:	Lehrter Bahnhof Berlin: Die Haupteingangsfassaden
Abstract:	Die Bahnhofshalle des neuen Berliner Hauptbahnhofes betritt man von Norden oder Süden durch zwei außergewöhnliche Glasfassaden. Das Tragwerk der Haupteingangsfassaden besteht ausschließlich aus Seilen und Glas. Wie die Stabschale des Nord-Süd-Daches weisen sie zahlreiche Sonderkonstruktionen auf, die alle Beteiligten vor schwierige Aufgaben stellten. Neben dem besonderen Tragsystem der vertikalen Seilbinder sind hier vor allem die Glasschwerter zu nennen, die gewaltige Lasten zu ertragen haben. (© 2006 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
