Title:	100 Jahre Hetzer-Patent
Abstract:	Der Zimmermeister Otto Hetzer aus Weimar erhielt auf die Erfindung eines gebogenen Holzbauteils am 22. 06. 1906 ein Patent. Das gebogene Holzbauteil sollte aus zwei oder mehreren Langholzstäben bestehen, die durch Zwischenfügen eines Klebstoffes zu einem Bauteil verklebt waren. Das neue Konstruktionsprinzip hatte zahlreiche Vorteile wie z. B. die Herstellung beliebig geformter Tragwerke, die Unabhängigkeit vom aus dem Stamm gewinnbaren Holzquerschnitt und die Herstellung statisch günstiger Querschnitte. Dieses Patent hat den Holzbau in den letzten 100 Jahren grundlegend verändert.
