Abstract:	Mit Methoden der Zuverlässigkeitstheorie wird eine neue Lastkombinationsregel begründet, die einfacher und wirtschaftlicher ist als die Regeln nach DIN 18800 Teil 1, DASt-Richtlinie 103 und ENV 1991-1. Danach ist die größte veränderliche Einwirkung (gemessen an der jeweiligen Beanspruchung) voll anzusetzen, die übrigen veränderlichen Einwirkungen dürfen in der Regel auf 50 % abgemindert werden. Das Kombinationsgesetz kann baustoffunabhängig in allen Bauweisen angewendet werden. Außerdem werden die Möglichkeiten und notwendige Forschungsarbeiten diskutiert, die Monte-Carlo-Simulation zur praktischen Behandlung von Lastkombinationsproblemen unmittelbar im Planungsbüro zu nutzen.
