Abstract:	Die alte Überbrückung der Alten Maas in Dordrecht mit den charakteristischen flügelförmigen Hubportal wird durch eine neue, ins Auge springende Hubbrücke ersetzt. Die neue Konstruktion fällt durch besondere Formen der verschiedenen Konstruktionsteile, die jeweiligen Verbindungen und die dazu gefundenen individuellen Konstruktionslösungen auf. Die neue Hubbrücke liegt auf der Rheinfahrhöhe (dies sind 11,2 m über NAP - Amsterdamer Pegel) und weist zwei unabhängig voreinander bewegliche Brückendecks auf, von denen eines neu ist. Durch sie wird ein wichtiger Engpaß im Bahn- und im Schiffsverkehr beseitigt.
