Abstract:	Im Hafen von Jeddah am Roten Meer war eine bestehende Silo- und Mühlenanlage zu erweitern. Die neuen Silo- und Fabrikgebäude waren unmittelbar an die bestehenden Bauwerke anzubauen. Da die bestehenden Fabrikationsgebäude auf dem über 60m tiefen Riffuntergrund bereits erhebliche Verformungen erlitten hatten, mussten die mit den Anbauten entstehenden Setzungen und Setzungsdifferenzen möglichst gering gehalten werden. Es wird über zwei Sondergründungslösungen mittels mantelverpresster Kleinbohrpfähle, Untergrundinjektion und schwimmendem biegesteifen Stahlbeton-Hohlkasten als wesentliche Gründungselemente des Hauptanbaues sowie des neu anzubauenden Siloturms berichtet.
