Abstract:	Der vorliegende Beitrag gibt Einblick in die frühe Entwicklung der Elemente-Steifigkeitsmatrizen für dünnwandige Stäbe; ihre ausgereiftesten Formen werden im Folgenden vorgestellt. Diese Formen, die allgemeinste und die später für zwei besondere Fälle reduzierten, beziehen sich auf die klassische Theorie der dünnwandigen Stäbe von Wlassow sowie auch auf die Bornscheuersche Systematik der betreffenden Querschnittskenngrößen. Entsprechende Modifikationen der zuständigen Matrizen werden vollzogen und ihre Abhängigkeit von der Orientierung des Bezugssystems dargelegt.
