Abstract:	Zur Abschätzung der Auswirkungen infolge einer Erhöhung des Strassenverkehrs auf eine alte gotische Kirche wurden Versuche mit vorbeifahrenden Schwerlastfahrzeugen und Messungen der an der Kirche auftretenden Erschütterungen durchgeführt. Die dabei festgestellten Schwingungen liessen voraussagen, welche Schäden an der Kirche aus verstärktem Strassenverkehr zu erwarten wären. Diese Ergebnisse bewirkten, daß der Strassenverkehr in der Nähe der Kirche nicht erhöht, sondern vermindert wurde.
