Abstract:	Beim Bau eines Zementwerkes am Arabischen Golf wurden alle Bauwerke flach auf der quartären Flugsandschicht gegründet, die durch Tiefen- und Oberflächenrüttlung verdichtet wurde. Während der eineinhalbjährigen Bauzeit und während der ersten Füllungen der bis zu 76 m hohen Silos wurden die Setzungen gemessen. Diese werden im vorliegenden Aufsatz ausgewertet und mit den vorausberechneten Setzungen, Schiefstellungen und gegenseitigen Beeinflussungen der Silos verglichen.
