Abstract:	Zum ersten Mal entstehen Mehrfamilien-Wohnhäuser mit den höchsten Ansprüchen an Energieeffizienz und Nachhaltigkeit in monolithischer Bauweise. Die Gebäude werden in Frankfurt a. M. von der ABG Frankfurt Holding im nördlichen Stadtteil Kalbach Süd errichtet. Der architektonische Entwurf stammt aus dem Büro Scheffler und Partner, die statische, energetische und bauphysikalische Planung des Projekts hat das Frankfurter Büro Bollinger + Grohmann Ingenieure übernommen, die gebäudetechnische Planung das Büro Baumgartner. Es handelt sich dabei um die ersten monolithisch gebauten Mehrfamilien-Passivhäuser. Sie markieren daher einen Meilenstein für die einschalige monolithische Bauweise in Verbindung mit einem anspruchsvollen energetischen Standard. Die Herausforderung für die Planer bestand in der Berücksichtigung verschiedener Aspekte und deren integrale Einbindung in die Planung. Ausgehend von vorgegebenen Parametern der städtischen Bebauungspläne, von Planungs- und Bedarfsvorgaben, wie z. B. Anzahl der erforderlichen Wohneinheiten, Aspekten der Familienfreundlichkeit und Barrierefreiheit, sollte eine Bauweise mit höchsten Ansprüchen an Ressourceneffizienz im weitesten Sinne realisiert werden. Dabei waren nicht nur Aspekte der Energieeffizienz von zentraler Bedeutung. Auch die Kosteneffizienz bei einer den gesamten Lebenszyklus umfassenden Betrachtung sollte die langfristige ökonomische Nachhaltigkeit für Nutzer und Eigentümer sichern. Gleichzeitig ergeben sich aus den hier gesammelten Erfahrungen wichtige Fragen für Forschung und Entwicklung im Bereich des nachhaltigen Bauens, das keinesfalls im Konflikt mit der Kreativität und der Vielfalt der Baukultur steht. First experiences with apartment buildings built in monolithic construction to Passivhaus standard. For the first time, apartment buildings are being built in monolithic construction that meet the most exacting requirements regarding energy efficiency and sustainability. These buildings are under construction in the northern district of Kalbach Süd in Frankfurt (Main) by ABG Frankfurt Holding. The architectural design was produced by Scheffler and Partners, the Frankfurt structural engineers Bollinger + Grohmann undertook the structural design including building physics and energy related aspects, and Baumgartner Engineers took charge of M&E design. These apartment buildings are the first monolithically constructed apartment buildings built to Passivhaus standard. They therefore represent a milestone in single-skin monolithic construction in connection with an exacting energy standard. The challenge for architects and engineers was to consider a range of different aspects and accommodate them in the design. In addition to given parameters such as the urban development plan, client requirements such as the number of apartments, aspects of family living and barrier-free standards, the briefing called for the highest construction standard in terms of efficient use of resources in the widest sense. This meant that the emphasis was not only on energy efficiency. Cost efficiency throughout the entire lifecycle of the building was equally as important in order to ensure long term economic sustainability for users and owners. The experience gained on this project will also provide answers to important questions regarding research and development in sustainable building, which is not in any conflict with the creativity and diversity of our architectural culture.
