Foundation renovation of the municipal church in Dinslaken
The municipal church of Dinslaken, built in 1720, has been erected on an organic soil with insufficient bearing capacity. In consequence of this, permanent crack formation and building damages occurred continously. In the following practical example the causes of damages are described in particular and advantages and disadvantages of different methods of foundation renovation are compared. Finally the method chosen in respect to the given boundary conditions will be presented.
