Abstract:	Der Umbau von bestehenden Gebäuden, wie er hier verstanden wird erfogt meist aus zwei Gründen. Einmal der Wunsch nach Erhöhung der Nutzlast und zum anderen eine Nutzungsänderung, die Eingriffe am Tragwerk erfordert. Beide Intentionen erfordern genaue Kenntnis der vorhandenen Materialkennwerte, des statischen Systems und möglicher Systemreserven durch z.B. ungewollte Einspannungen. Auch ein Vergleich der zul. Nutzlast zwischen DIN und ISO - Norm zeigt, daß bei letzterer z.T. erheblich geringere Anforderungen bestehen.
