Abstract:	Mit der Auswahl der richtigen Hohlprofile werden Verhalten und Tragfähigkeit einer Konstruktion deutlich verbessert. Stahlbau-Hohlprofile können entweder warm- oder kaltgefertigt hergestellt werden und aufgrund der verschiedenen Herstellungsprozesse haben die beiden Typen unterschiedliche technische Eigenschaften. Bei Tata Steel Europe erfolgt die Produktion nach beiden Prozessen, deshalb werden in diesem Beitrag die Hauptunterschiede dieser zwei Hohlprofilarten erläutert, um eine sinnvolle und gezielte Produktauswahl zu ermöglichen.
