Abstract:	Das so genannte Praktikergespräch wurde vor 20 Jahren gemeinsam von Konstrukteuren und Forschungseinrichtungen als Diskussionsrunde zum Einsatz hochfester Feinkornbaustähle in der technischen Praxis gegründet. Dieser Beitrag zeigt die Erfolgsgeschichte dieser Idee auf. Looking back on 20 years of exchanging engineering science experiences on a practical level. The first so called Praktikergespräch (meeting of practitioners) was founded jointly by designers and research institutes 20 years ago. The aim was to provide a forum to discuss the use of high-strength fine-grain structural steels in engineering practice. This article reveals the success story of that idea.
