Abstract:	Historische Bauwerke sind besonders empfindlich gegenüber falschen Sanierungsmaßnahmen. Der Einsatz moderner Materialien und Methoden muß daher mit besonderer Sorgfalt erfolgen und die Verträglichkeit mit der alten Bausubstanz in Planung und Ausführung berücksichtigen. Der Beitrag schildert Schadensursachen an historischen Gebäuden und beschreibt mögliche moderne Methoden zur Sanierung und zur Wiederherstellung ihrer Tragfähigkeit.
