Abstract:	Im Frühjahr 2010 lobte die Siemens AG einen internationalen Wettbewerb für den Neubau ihrer Konzernzentrale am Standort Wittelsbacherplatz in München aus. Das Gebäude sollte 45 000 m2 oberirdische Geschossfläche für 1 200 Mitarbeiter bieten und dabei besonders nachhaltig und technisch innovativ sein. Aufgrund der prominenten Lage war es dem Bauherrn darüber hinaus auch sehr wichtig, ein nachhaltiges Gebäude mit modernen Arbeitswelten zu schaffen, das gleichzeitig öffentlich zugänglich sein sollte. Dabei sollte es sich um ein hochmodernes Gebäude handeln, das sich gleichermaßen in die sensible innenstädtische Lage einfügt. Der nachfolgende Bericht beschreibt die tragende Konstruktion des Gebäudes der Hauptverwaltung, die Integration der unter Denkmalschutz stehenden Gebäude am Wittelsbacher Platz sowie die Gebäudehülle. The New Siemens Headquarter in Munich - One of the Most Sustainable Office Buildings in Europe In the summer of 2010, Siemens AG organized an international competition for the new construction of its corporate headquarters in the traditional location in Munich. The building should provide 45, 000 m2 of floor space for 1, 200 employees and be particularly sustainable and technically innovative. Due to the prominent location at Wittelsbacher Platz in Munich, the building owner was also very important to give the building a high recognition value. The following report describes the supporting structure of the main administration building, the integration of the listed buildings at Wittelsbacherplatz and the building envelope.
