Abstract:	Im Rahmen eines Forschungsprojekts sollen Grundlagen für eine stärkere Verwendung von Holzbauweisen bei Industriebauten geschaffen werden. Dazu wurden aus der Holzbranche die wesentlichen Hemmnisse identifiziert. Mittels einer Analyse von gebauten Beispielen wurde untersucht, in welchem Umfang eine (brennbare) Holzkonstruktion überhaupt einen Einfluss auf das zu erwartende Brandszenario hat. Die Hallen wurden dazu hinsichtlich ihrer Nutzungen und der vorhandenen Brandlasten im Detail untersucht. Aus den Ergebnissen sollen Vorschläge zur Überarbeitung der Muster-Holzbaurichtlinie abgeleitet werden. Fundamental investigations for the revision of the model industrial buildings guideline Principles for an enhanced use of wooden constructions for industrial buildings were investigated in a research project. In a first step fundamental restraints were defined by the woodworking industry. An analysis of built examples was performed, to examine to which extent the combustible construction influences the fire scenario in dependence of utilization and fire load. Based on the results a proposal for the revision of the model industrial construction guideline will be worked out.
