Abstract:	Die vorhandenen Regelungen rund um den Schallschutz in Gebäuden gegen Außenlärm werden derzeit kontrovers diskutiert. Neben dem Berechnungsverfahren in DIN 4109 wird in der Praxis oftmals die VDI 2719 herangezogen. Darüber hinaus finden Regelungen der 24. BImSchV Anwendung. Für die DIN 4109 sind aktuell Änderungsblätter im Entwurf erschienen. Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die unterschiedliche Zielsetzung der Regelungen, erläutert die Hintergründe und vorgeschlagenen Anpassungen für die DIN 4109.
