Abstract:	Windenergieanlagen werden in Deutschland mit immer größeren Türmen installiert. Die Anforderungen an die strukturelle Auslegung werden ebenfalls immer größer - insbesondere weil wirtschaftliche Aspekte im Fokus stehen. Da Windenergieanlagen zunehmend mit variabler Drehzahl betrieben werden, besteht bei der Auslegung der Türme ein großes Interesse, Lasterhöhungen durch Resonanzen zu vermeiden. Dieser Artikel erörtert den Einfluss der strukturellen Dämpfung auf die mechanischen Lasten von Hybrid-Türmen. Ein Vorschlag für eine vereinfachte Methode zur Berechnung der strukturellen Dämpfung von Hybrid-Türmen wird gemacht, welche durch verschiedene Messmethoden validiert wurde. Damping of wind turbines The hub heights of wind turbines in Germany have significantly increased over the years. The requirements for these towers are also increasing - especially due to the high focus on costs. Since turbines are increasingly installed with variable rotor speeds, there is a high incentive to avoid potential resonance issues. This article investigates the influence of the structural damping on the mechanical loads on high hybrid-towers. A new method to estimate the structural damping is proposed, which has been validated by means of a full-scale measurement campaign.
