Abstract:	Frau Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrike Kuhlmann zur Vollendung ihres 60. Lebensjahres gewidmet Die Digitalisierung der (Hochschul-)Lehre ist seit mehreren Jahren ein auf vielen Ebenen diskutiertes Thema. Es existieren sehr viele verschiedene Ansätze, die sich auch unterschiedlich stark auf den Lehrbetrieb auswirken. Gleichzeitig wird politisch eine immer stärkere Kompetenzorientierung der Studiengänge gefordert. Am Fachgebiet Stahlbau der TU Darmstadt kommen digitale Medien seit einigen Jahren auf unterschiedliche Weise zum Einsatz. Im folgenden Artikel werden mehrere Varianten vorgestellt. Basis all dieser Lehrkonzepte ist der Gedanke, die Lernenden im Rahmen der Lehrveranstaltung stärker zu aktivieren und dadurch zu einer besseren Lernleistung beizutragen. Active learning for civil engineers - examples for the use of digital media at a university. The digitalization of teaching (at university) has been a much discussed topic for several years. There are many different approaches that also have a different impact on the daily work at the university. Additionally, an increasing emphasis on competence orientation of the degree programs is being demanded politically. At the chair for steel structures at TU Darmstadt, digital media are being used for several years and in different settings. The following article presents some variants. The basis of all these teaching concepts is the idea to activate more students during class. Thereby a better learning performance should be reached.
