Abstract:	Infraleichtbeton ist nun - nach zehn Jahren Forschung an der TU Berlin und einem ersten Haus, das sich seit zehn Jahren bewährt - reif für die Praxis. Die Risiken, die er wie jede Neuerung mit sich bringt, sind jetzt überschaubar. Für diejenigen, die diesen Hochleistungsbeton als tragende Wärmedämmung einsetzen oder weiter erforschen wollen, ist in diesem Beitrag zuerst das Wichtigste zu solchen sehr leichten Betonen, die Sichtbetonbau praktisch ohne zusätzliche Dämmmaßnahmen ermöglichen, zusammengefasst. Die weiteren Ergebnisse der bisherigen Forschung der Autoren und laufende Untersuchungen werden danach ausführlich vorgestellt. Die werkstoffgerechte Durchbildung konstruktiver Details und das gestalterische Potenzial solch neuartiger Betone wird ebenso besprochen wie die für die Umsetzung bisher noch nötige Zustimmung im Einzelfall (ZiE) für Infraleichtbeton. Zum Schluss werden die wenigen bisher gebauten und gerade in Planung befindlichen Gebäude aus Infraleichtbeton vorgestellt. Infra-Lightweight Concrete: Ready for practice After ten years of research at the TU Berlin and a first house, which has proved successful for ten years, Infra-Lightweight Concrete is now ready for practice. The risks that any innovation takes are now manageable. For those who want to use or further explore this high-performance concrete as a load-bearing thermal insulation, this paper first summarizes the most important things about such very light concretes, which allow for fair-faced structures without any additional heat insulation measures. The further results of our recent and ongoing research are presented in detail. The material-compatible development of structural details and the design potential of such new concretes are discussed as well as the project-specific approval in the individual case that is required so far in practice. In the end, the few buildings that have been built until now and are currently being planned are presented.
