Abstract:	Herrn Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Rolf Kindmann zur Vollendung seines 70. Lebensjahres gewidmet Das Verkehrsaufkommen insbesondere im Fernverkehrsnetz der Autobahnen hat sich in den letzten Jahrzehnten vervielfacht. Zur Engpassbeseitigung wird auf besonders beanspruchten Streckenabschnitten ein Ausbau der Verkehrsanlagen erforderlich. Der marode Brückenbestand wird in diesem Zusammenhang erneuert. Die Ausführung erfolgt in der Regel mit getrennten Richtungsfahrbahnen. Die zu erneuernden Teilbauwerke müssen dabei immer mehr Fahrstreifen mit Auswirkungen auf die Querschnittsgestaltung aufnehmen. In Abhängigkeit von Spannweiten und Überbaubreiten werden anhand von Beispielen mögliche Querschnittsformen bei Wahl eines Stahlverbundüberbaus vorgestellt. Die Vor- und Nachteile einzelner Querschnittsformen werden diskutiert. Cross section design of composite bridges. The traffic particularly on highways has increased over the last decades. Heavily used routes need to be expended by adding more lanes. In this context the existent bridges that are already in bad condition are to be renewed. Generally the superstructure is designed with dual carriage ways. Each superstructure needs to accommodate more lanes than in the past. Due to the span length and the width of the construction possible cross sections are presented. Pros and contras are discussed.
