Abstract:     
 		The St. Kanzian tunnel chain is located in the Mittlern-Althofen section in the western part of the Koralm Railway and consists of six tunnels with lengths between 230 and 2,100 m, which are contructed using various methods. Except for a 565 m long cut and cover section, the Stein Tunnel with a total length of 2,100 m is being driven by drill and blast method. DSI Underground Austria delivers support elements to secure heading (see page 87).
Die Tunnelkette St. Kanzian liegt im Streckenabschnitt Mittlern-Althofen im Westteil der Koralmbahn und besteht aus sechs Tunnelbauwerken mit Längen zwischen 230 und 2.100 m, die in unterschiedlichen Bauweisen errichtet werden. Der 2.100 m lange Tunnel Stein wird bis auf einen 565 m langen in offener Bauweise errichteten Abschnitt im Sprengvortrieb aufgefahren. Die Stützmittel zur Sicherung des Vortriebs liefert DSI Underground Austria (siehe S. 87).
