Abstract:	Herrn Dipl.-Ing. Rainer Ehmann zum Dank für die langjährige gute Zusammenarbeit zu seiner Pensionierung gewidmet Es wird über ein Forschungsvorhaben berichtet, in dem die Einsatzmöglichkeiten von vollverschlossenen Seilen als Seilhänger in Stabbogenbrücken untersucht wurden. Dabei wurde insbesondere die Wirkung von Biegung am Übergang von der Endverankerung auf die freie Seillänge betrachtet. Die Herangehensweise an die Thematik und das für die Praxis abgeleitete Nachweisverfahren werden vorgestellt. Abschließend wird über aktuelle Erkenntnisse bei der Ausführung und der Normung von Seilhängern berichtet. Application possibilities of rope hangers in tied arch bridges. In a research project, the application possibilities of locked coil ropes as rope hangers in tied arch bridges have been examined. The effect of bending loads in the transition zone between the rope anchorage and the “free” length of the rope was of special interest. The general approach and the practical proof procedure derived are presented. Finally, a report on the current status of the implementation and standardisation of rope hangers is provided.
