Abstract:	Durch den Fortschritt der Drahtseil-Technologie wurde es möglich, neue Dimensionen in der Erstellung abgehängtr Bauwerke wie Hängebrücken oder Schrägseilbrücken zu erreichen. In der Konstruktionsphase solcher Brücken wird bei der Auswahl der Seile nicht nur die statische Festigkeit, sondern auch die Ermüdungsfestigkeit berücksichtigt. Um die Grundlagen der Berechnung von Ermüdungserscheinungen in seilverspannten Brückenbauwerken festzulegen, wurden asnalytische und Versuchswerte auf der Basis der Extremwerttheorie ausgewertet.
