Der neue Isarsteg Nord bei Freising, eine fast 160 Meter lange Fußweg- und Fahrradbrücke aus wetterfestem Baustahl S355 J2G2W und abschnittsweisen Verbundbauteilen, ist Beispiel für eine ressourcensparende Konstruktion. Wie ein verzweigtes Blätter- und Flügelstrukturwerk mutet diese Brücke an. Die Trag- und Fahrplatte besteht aus einem speziellen Beton, schubfest mit Kopfbolzen zu einer Verbundplatte verankert. Die Einwirkungen und Kräfte werden ressourcensparend über torsionssteife geschweißte Hohlprofile gezielt in die Fundamente abgeleitet. Die Betonbauteile der Fundamente und Gründungen wurden ausschließlich mit chromatreduzierten Zementen ohne grundwasserschädliche Zusatzstoffe hergestellt.

The Isarsteg - a resource-efficient structure and/or work of art?
The new Isarsteg Nord path in the city of Freising, a roughly 160 m long pedestrian and bike path in weather-resistant S355 J2G2W steel with connecting elements in certain sections is an example of an efficient and sparing use of resources in construction. The appearance of the bridge is that of a structure with leaves and wings. The supporting slab and carriageway is made of a special concrete, anchored with bolts to a connecting plate to avoid any slippage.
The loads and stresses are deflected to the foundations in a resource-efficient manner, using torsionally rigid welded hollow sections. The concrete foundation and grounding elements were produced exclusively using low-chromate cements, with no substances that might be dangerous for groundwater.
