Title:	Beitrag zur Bemessung der Schalen von Metallsilos.
Abstract:	Die z. T. übliche Bemessungspraxis für vertikale Stahlsilos führte wiederholt zu Unfällen. Im Beitrag werden die Gründe dafür untersucht. Zusätzlich werden vernünftige Versteifungen der Krafteinleitungsbereiche gezeigt, die in der Lage sind, das Versagen zu verhindern. Es wird eine Berechnungsmethode erläutert, die nur mit geringem Aufwand verbunden ist und die anhand eines Beispiels dargestellt wird. Dabei werden die Spannungsverteilungen an allen kritischen Stellen der Schale ermittelt.
