Title:	Der Aussichtsturm "Poissy Galore" im Parc du Peuple de l'Herbe
Abstract:	Der Aussichtsturm “Poissy Galore” befindet sich in einem 113 ha großen öffentlichen Park entlang der Seine, in Carrières-Sous-Poissy, Frankreich. Das Programm umfasst ein Besucherzentrum, ein Museum, ein Restaurant und einen Aussichtsturm (Bild 1). Die Bauten im Park sollen den Besuchern die Möglichkeit bieten, die Landschaft zu betrachten und neue Naturerlebnisse zu begünstigen. Der Aussichtsturm - eine 15 m hohe weiße Stahlkonstruktion - besteht aus vier aufeinandergestapelten hausförmigen Körpern. Je nach Blickwinkel ergibt sich die Illusion, dass einzelne Kuben zu Boden gleiten. Die offene Treppe führt durch die einzelnen “Häuser” auf die oberste Ebene, die einen weitläufigen 360°-Blick auf den Park und die Seine ermöglicht. Die Körper sind als Stahlrahmenbau angedacht und wurden biegesteif zusammengeschweißt. Stellenweise wurde eine Verkeilung zwischen den gestapelten Körpern installiert, um eine horizontale Plattform zu bilden. Durch das Einfügen von Bindegliedern hebt sich das oberste Haus noch etwas mehr ab und scheint damit in der Landschaft zu schweben. Die Fassaden bestehen aus Holzlamellen, deren Anordnung und Abstände eine Transluzenz bewirken und so die Tragwirkung deutlich ablesbar machen. The “Poissy Galore” observation tower in the Parc du Peuple de l'Herbe. The “Poissy Galore” observation tower is located in a 113 ha public park along the Seine in Carrières-Sous-Poissy, France. The attractions include a visitor centre, a museum, a restaurant and an observation tower (Fig. 1). The constructions in the park are intended to give visitors the opportunity to observe the landscape and to experience nature at its best. The observation tower - a 15 m high white steel construction - consists of four stacked, house-shaped bodies. Depending on the viewing angle, the illusion arises that individual cubes glide to the floor. The open staircase leads through the individual “houses” to the top level, which provides a 360-degree view of the park and the Seine. The bodies are conceived as a steel frame construction and were welded together in a bending-resistant manner. In places, a wedge was installed between the stacked bodies to form a horizontal platform. By inserting connecting links, the top house stands out a little more and seems to float in the landscape. The facades consist of wooden slats, whose arrangement and spacing create translucency and thus make the load-bearing effect clearly visible.
