Title:	Das Netzquartier: die neue Zentrale des Netzbetreibers 50Hertz Transmission GmbH in Berlin - Die Firmenzentrale besticht durch Gestaltung, Konstruktion und Nachhaltigkeit
Abstract:	Mit der Europacity wird im Herzen Berlins auf dem Gelände eines ehemaligen Bahnhofs ein neuer Stadtteil erschlossen. Gegenüber des Berliner Hauptbahnhofs entstehen Flächen für Wohnungen, Büro, Kunst und Einzelhandel. Für den Stromnetzbetreiber 50Hertz Transmission GmbH ist in der Europacity gegenüber des Total-Towers die neue Firmenzentrale, das sogenannte Netzquartier, errichtet worden. Das Bürogebäude für ca. 650 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter ist das Deutschlandhauptquartier des Konzerns und integriert die TCC-Ersatzleitwarte. Das Gesamtvorhaben wurde von DGNB und LEED als führende Nachhaltigkeitszertifizierungssysteme jeweils in Gold ausgezeichnet. Zudem erhielt das 50Hertz Netzquartier als erstes Gebäude weltweit die Auszeichnung DGNB Diamant. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird auf die Besonderheiten eingegangen, die sich in Bezug auf die Berechnungen und Nachweise aus dem außergewöhnlichen Tragwerk ergeben. Weiterhin werden die besonderen Einflüsse aus dem lokalen Umfeld sowie die wesentlichen Aspekte der Herstellungstechnologie aufgezeichnet. The Netzquartier building: the new headquarters of electricity network operator 50Hertz Transmission GmbH in Berlin - the building impresses with its design, construction and sustainability. In the heart of Berlin, on the site of a former railway station, the Europacity development is transforming this part of the city. Opposite Berlin's central train station, prime space is being created for apartments, offices, art and retail. Here, facing the Total Tower, is located the new headquarters of the electricity network operator 50Hertz Transmission GmbH - the company's so-called “Netzquartier”. The office building for about 650 employees is the company's German base and integrates its back-up transmission control centre (TCC). The overall project was awarded Gold certifications by both DGNB and LEED, the leading sustainability certification systems. Furthermore, the building became the first in the world to be awarded the “DGNB Diamond” certificate. This paper shall describe the special aspects of this extraordinary building's structural design. The particular impacts of the local environment on the design, and key aspects of the construction technology shall also be outlined.
