Abstract:

Influence of vibrations on young concrete
This report examines the effects of vibrations on young concrete. The focus was on possible changes in compressive strength and water penetration depth. For this purpose, concrete samples were shaken either six, eight or ten hours after concreting at a defined frequency and a constant vibration velocity. In total, three different frequencies (5 Hz, 20 Hz and 35 Hz) were considered in this investigation.
