Abstract:	Dünnwandige Schalen sind besonders stabilitätsgefährdet. Die wirklich erreichten Traglasten können erheblich unter den nach der klassischen linearen Stabilitätstheorie berechneten idealen Beullasten liegen. Mit Modellversuchen können Bemessungsfragen geklärt werden. Im Aufsatz wird ein Vorschlag gemacht, wie man mit einer geringen Zahl von Modellversuchen auskommt.
