Herrn Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Frank Werner zur Vollendung seines 70. Lebensjahres gewidmet

New tower dome for the Church at Hanau
At the end of World War II, the Johanneskirche in Hanau was badly damaged. The reconstruction in 1956/57 took place without the original three-tier tower dome. This unsatisfactory state of affairs meant that committed citizens of the city had set themselves the goal of restoring the old silhouette of the church. The article describes the planning and construction of a steel structure in the form of the old hood.
