Die aktuelle Tendenz im Brückenneubau weist eine zunehmende Anzahl semi-integraler Großbrücken auf. Die Vorteile geringerer Wartung und höherer Robustheit erfordern zusätzliche Überlegungen in der technischen Bearbeitung. Die Wehretalbrücke ist aufgrund ihrer Schlankheit und komplexen Geometrie gut geeignet, um die Besonderheiten integraler Brücken bei der Planung und Ausführung exemplarisch aufzuzeigen. Das Bauwerk wurde semi-integral als Rahmen mit vier Stielen ausgeführt. Die Abhängigkeiten zwischen Bau- und Endzustand machen frühe Abstimmungen zwischen Planer, Baugrundsachverständigem, Baufirma und Bauherr notwendig, damit ein reibungsloser Bauablauf gewährleistet werden kann.

Special features in the design of large semi-integral bridges using the example of the Wehre River
The current trend in bridge construction shows an increasing number of semi-integral large bridges. The benefits of lower maintenance and greater robustness require additional engineering considerations. Due to its slenderness and complex geometry, the Wehretalbrücke is particularly well suited to exemplify the special features of integral bridges in planning and execution. The bridge is semi-integral designed as a frame with four stems. The dependencies between construction- and final stage require early coordination between the planner, site surveyor, construction company and client to ensure a smooth construction process.
