Herrn Professor Dr.-Ing. Josef Hegger zu seinem 65. Geburtstag gewidmet
Einen Hauptforschungsschwerpunkt von Herrn Prof. JOSEF HEGGER zu benennen, ist bei einer solch langen und erfolgreichen Karriere im Bereich der Bauforschung kaum möglich. Ein ihm gewidmeter Beitrag sollte daher mehrere Forschungsthemen umfassen, um dem Jubilar gerecht zu werden. Nachfolgender Beitrag widmet sich daher sowohl dem Carbonbeton im Neubau als auch dem vorgespannten Beton. Konkret werden die Ergebnisse aus Biegeversuchen an einem werkstoffgerecht und formoptimierten Deckenelement dargestellt, die im Rahmen der Forschungsprojekte C3-V4.2 “Vorgespannter Carbonbeton für Straßenbrücken und Flächentragwerke” sowie C3-V1.5 “Abbruch, Rückbau und Recycling von C3-Bauteilen” innerhalb der deutschlandweiten Verbundforschungsinitiative “Carbon Concrete Composite - C3” durchgeführt wurden.

In regard of the long and successful career of Prof. JOSEF HEGGER, it is not easy to define his main research theme. Due to that fact it is necessary to include more than one research topic within a dedication article to make the grade. Therefore the following contribution deals with carbon reinforced concrete as well as the shear behaviour of concrete elements and prestressed concrete. In detail, experimental investigations and the design of slabs regarding the material behavior of carbon reinforced concrete will be described. These investigations are the result of the research projects C3-V.4.2 “Pre-stressed carbon concrete for road bridges and shell structures” and C3-V1.5 “Demolition, removal and recycling of C3 structures” within the German-wide joint research initiative “Carbon Concrete Composite - C3”.
