Abstract:	Im Ingenieuralltag bietet sich eine Vielzahl von Aufgaben an, die eine möglichst ausgewogene und präzise Antwort benötigen. Brücken sind räumliche Strukturen, welche die äußerst einfache Funktion der Überwindung von Hindernissen übernehmen müssen. Um diese Funktion zu erfüllen, bieten sich vielfältige Möglichkeiten an, die vom zu überwindenden Hindernis, von der Nutzung der Verbindung und vom bereits vorhandenen bebauten oder unbebauten Umfeld abhängig sind. Folglich stellt die Wahl des eingesetzten Materials, der Typologie des Tragsystems und der Gestaltung der Brücke eine konkrete Lösung dar, die den Anspruch hat, die gestellten Anforderungen und Randbedingungen möglichst schlicht und effizient zu erfüllen. In diesem Beitrag werden verschiedene Projekte präsentiert, die das Resultat der Arbeit eines Projektierungsteams sind und dank der Akzeptanz der Bauherrschaft realisiert werden konnten. Es ist nicht Absicht der Autoren, die Projekte als einzige oder bessere Antwort auf die geforderte Aufgabenstellung zu präsentieren, sondern eine kleine Übersicht über die Möglichkeit, Stahlbrücken als Antwort im komplexen Umfeld anzubieten. Steelbridges as solution in complex environment Engineering involves balancing multiple interdependent tasks that require specific answers and interdependent trade-offs. Bridges are spatial structures designed to overcome physical obstacles. There are several ways to accomplish this goal depending on the physical obstacle, how the bridge will be used, and pre-existing environmental or built structures. Consequently, the bridge shape, material, and structural system combine to deliver a precise and efficient solution within the project constraints. In this contribution we outlined various approaches created by a team of engineers that can be developed and built upon the acceptance of the owners and their representatives. The authors' intent is to give a brief overview of the possibilities of using steel bridges as a solution in a complex environment. There is no intent by the authors to show that these options are the only available solution.
