Title:	Planungshilfen im Stahl- und Stahlverbundbau - Fortschreibung der RE-ING und der RiZ-ING
Abstract:	Mit dem Programm Brückenmodernisierung der Bundesregierung stehen viele Ersatzneubauten von großen Tal- und Flussbrücken an. Aufgrund der enormen Spannweiten werden diese vornehmlich als Stahl- bzw. Stahlverbundbrücken ausgeführt werden. Daher ist es wichtig, den Planern und Verwaltungshandelnden aktuelle konstruktive, aber auch bewährte Planungs- und Herstellungsdetails bemessungsrelevanter Punkte kompakt an die Hand zu geben. Im Bewusstsein der an den Rheinbrücken vorgefundenen Ermüdungsschäden als Folge direkter Einwirkung hoher Achslasten gilt es für die künftigen Neubauten vieles zu durchdenken und ggf. zu überarbeiten, damit diese neuen Brücken den veränderten und zukünftigen Randbedingungen insbesondere hinsichtlich der ermüdungswirksamen Beanspruchung besser gerecht werden. Dabei sind neben Nachhaltigkeit und Resilienz in Bezug zur Materialwahl und Ausführungsqualität besonders auch die Bedingungen einer handnahen Prüfung und Inspektion der Konstruktion zu beachten und zu fördern. Design tools for steel and composite bridges - updating the RE-ING and RiZ-ING The federal government's Bridge Modernization Program provides for many new bridges to be built to replace large valley and river bridges that do not meet current structural requirements. Due to their enormous spans, the current bridges will almost certainly be replaced with steel or composite structures. It is therefore essential to provide planners and others involved in this program with up-to-date design requirements, best practices, potential execution issues, and design-relevant details in a concise manner. Specifically, in light of the fatigue damages detected in Rhine bridges, mostly due to high axial loads of trucks, numerous design aspects need to be reviewed in order to ensure that these new bridges will meet future requirements in a better way. Among the important issues to be taken into account are sustainability and resilience with respect to materials and execution quality, as well as conditions for enhanced structural health monitoring.
