Abstract:	Für unter reiner Momentenbelastung stehende Biegebalken nach Theorie 1. und 2. Ordnung und für Platten nach der Kirchhoffschen Plattentheorie werden die Differentialgleichungen hergeleitet und denen für Querbelastung gegenübergestellt. Für eine Berechnung der Balken nach dem Reduktionsverfahren werden die Feldmatrizen angegeben.
