Title:	Sanierung der Wehrwalzen an Hengstey- und Baldeneysee
Abstract:	An den etwa 90 Jahre alten Wehrwalzen von Hengstey- und Baldeneysee standen erstmals in ihrer Betriebszeit grundlegende Sanierungsarbeiten an. Hierzu werden die Walzen zunächst vollständig entschichtet, dann defekte Stahlbauteile ausgetauscht und anschließend ein neuer Korrosionsschutz aufgetragen. Zudem werden Antriebsketten erneuert und vorhandene Dichtungskonstruktionen ersetzt. Zu den Herausforderungen bei der Sanierung zählen u. a. voneinander abweichende Angaben in alten Statiken und Bestandsplänen, problematische Schadstoffgehalte in der alten Korrosionsbeschichtung sowie die Wiederherstellung eines dichten Anschlusses zwischen Walzen und Sohlbalken. Rehabilitation of the roller drum gates at Lake Hengstey and Lake Baldeney For the first time in their operating time of approximately 90 years, there was a major rehabilitation of the roller drum gates at the lakes Hengstey and Baldeney required. For this purpose, the roller drum gates were first completely decoated, then defective steel components were replaced and finally a new corrosion coating was applied. In addition, chains have been renewed and existing seal designs replaced. The challenges in the rehabiltation included divergent information in old statics and inventory plans, problematic pollutant levels in the old corrosion coating as well as a tight connection between the roller drum gates and the weir structure.
