Abstract:	Der bautechnische Zustand der in die Jahre gekommenen Verkehrsinfrastruktur verlangt in Kombination mit Ressourcenknappheit nach einer Priorisierung von Instandsetzungsmaßnahmen. Im Rahmen der Sicherheitsforschung des Bundes untersucht das Verbundforschungsvorhaben PREVIEW die Auswirkung von Sicherheitsszenarien auf die Verkehrsströme und den Bevölkerungsschutz am westdeutschen Kanalnetz. Als relevantes Sicherheitsszenario hat sich hierbei der Instandsetzungsstau bei den Verkehrswasserbauwerken erwiesen. Deren Ausfallwahrscheinlichkeit wird maßgeblich durch ihre Vulnerabilität hinsichtlich definierter Sicherheitsszenarien bestimmt. Für die Ermittlung der Vulnerabilität werden mehrdimensionale Fehlerbäume unter Berücksichtigung der Bauwerksrobustheit herangezogen. Die so ermittelte Ausfallwahrscheinlichkeit dient zusammen mit der Bauwerkskritikalität der Risikobetrachtung auf Bauwerksebene. Die Bauwerksergebnisse dienen als Grundlage für Resilienzuntersuchungen auf Kanalnetzebene. Vulnerability of waterway structures The technical condition of the ageing transport infrastructure, combined with the scarcity of resources, demands for the prioritization of repair measures. As part of federal security research, the PREVIEW joint research project is examining the impact of security scenarios on traffic flows and civil protection on the West German Canal Network. The maintenance backlog at the waterway structures has proven to be a relevant safety scenario. Their failure probability is largely determined by their vulnerability concerning defined security scenarios. To determine vulnerability, multi-dimensional fault trees are used, taking structural robustness into account. The failure probability determined in this way is used together with the criticality to examine the risk assessment at the building level. The building results serve as the basis for resilience studies at the canal network level.
