Title:	Passerelle Bahnhof Rotkreuz
Abstract:	Die Personenüberführung Rotkreuz Ost verbindet die Bahnsteige des Bahnhofs Rotkreuz mit den angrenzenden Quartieren und wurde im September 2019 nach neun Monaten Bauzeit eröffnet. Das ausgeführte Stahlbrückenprojekt ging in einem Wettbewerb mit Präqualifikation als Sieger hervor. Die knapp 100 m lange Fußgängerpasserelle mit vier Liften und Treppenabgängen überbrückt das Gleisfeld als Zweifeldträger. Das Tragwerk besteht aus einem Hohlkasten mit auskragender Fahrbahn und ist mittels dreier Stützen im Baugrund eingespannt. Gestalterisch wurde ein schlichtes, modernes Erscheinungsbild angestrebt. Der Stahlhohlkasten auf der Rückseite der Brücke erzeugt eine geschlossene Fläche, während der gegenüberliegende Rand mit einem transparenten Metallgeflecht abgeschlossen ist. Das gestalterische Konzept mit einer geschlossenen Seite und transparenter Gegenseite ist auf den Treppenabgängen am Brückenrand nahtlos fortgeführt und erzeugt so ein einheitliches Gesamtbild. Rotkreuz pedestrian bridge The presented pedestrian bridge in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, connects the station platforms with the neighboring districts and opened in September 2019, after nine months of construction. The steel bridge project was selected as the winning submission in a competition with prequalification entrance requirements. The almost 100 m long steel construction with four elevators and four stairways crosses the railway tracks as a two-span girder. The structure consists of a hollow box girder with a cantilevered rib slab and rests on three robust columns that are rigidly fixed in the foundation. The design concept focused on a simple, modern appearance. The steel box girder at the rear of the bridge creates a closed surface, while the opposing side ends in a transparent metal mesh. The design concept with a closed side and transparent opposite side is continued on the stairways at the end of the bridge, thus creating a convincing, uniform overall appearance.
