Abstract:	Stahlbau in der DDR Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird ein kurzer Überblick über die Entwicklung der Stahlbaubetriebe in der DDR im Zeitraum 1945-1997 am Beispiel des Metallleichtbaukombinats gegeben. Die Entstehung, Entwicklung und Profilierung des Kombinats, realisierte Vorhaben und Auslandsaktivitäten, die Wende und der gemeinsame deutsche Markt sowie die Arbeit im Deutschen Stahlbau-Verband DSTV werden aus der Sicht des Zeitzeugen beschrieben.
