Abstract:	Im Jahr 2019 musste die Eisenbahnbrücke bei Langenargen nach 120 Jahren Nutzung einem Neubau weichen. Diese Brücke über die Argen war im Wesentlichen im bauzeitlichen Zustand erhalten und bildete mit der benachbarten Straßenbrücke, der Kabelhängebrücke von 1898, ein unvergleichliches Ensemble. Die Konstruktionsweise der Langenargener Eisenbahnbrücke war für die Transsibirische Eisenbahn entwickelt worden. This bridge and the nearby situated road bridge from 1898 were a unique ensemble. The construction of the railway bridge once was developed for the Transsibirian Railroad.
